Cameroon international midfielder James Lea Siliki has signed for Turkish second tier side Gençlerbirliği FK.

Since his departure from Estoril, the Cameroon midfielder was a free agent and he is going to try to regain his shape in the Turkish second division club Gençlerbirliği FK.

Gençlerbirliği FK is Lea Siliki’s fifth club. He had previously played for EA Guingamp, Stade Rennais, Middlesbrough in England and Estoril in Portugal.

Gençlerbirliği FK currently occupies the 8th position in the Turkish second tier with 32 points after 21 matches played. They take on Eyüpspor in Matchday 22 on Monday February 12, and Lea Siliki could make his debut for the club.

James Lea Siliki made his debut with the Indomitable lions of Cameroon in a 1#0 friendly win over Nigeria on June 4, 2021. He was part of the 2021 AFCON squad in Cameroon that won the bronze medal.
