Cameroonian central defender Hamed Fadil Motapon has signed a one-year contract with Spanish fifth-tier side CD Eldense B.

The 21-year-old joins the reserve team of the Spanish club as he continues his football journey in Europe, two years after leaving Cameroon to pursue a professional career abroad.

A product of ANAFOOT, Hamed developed into one of the country’s promising young defenders before joining Canon Sportif of Yaoundé, one of Cameroon’s most historic clubs. At Canon, he followed in the footsteps of renowned defenders such as Emmanuel Mve and Michael Ngadeu, who also wore the club’s colours before making successful careers abroad.

Known for his composure on the ball, aerial strength and defensive awareness, Hamed will now look to establish himself at CD Eldense B and continue his development in the Spanish football system.

The move presents another opportunity for the young defender to showcase his talent in Europe as he aims to progress through the ranks and earn a place in the club’s senior setup.
