French Ligue 1 giants, Olympique Marseille has announced that they have signed on loan Cameroon international midfielder Jean Emile Onana from Besiktas.
The Cameroonian player has joined the French team on loan with a possible purchase option.
The 24-year-old Cameroon international has been playing for the Istanbul club since the summer of 2023.
During this time, Jean Onana has participated in 10 matches for Besiktas, scoring one goal and provided one assist.
Onana made his Cameroon national team debut on October 8, 2020, in a friendly against Japan.
Marseille will be his fourth French Ligue 1 club after having previously played for Lens, Bordeaux, and Lille.
It is worth noting that in December, Besiktas announced the exclusion of five first-team players due to unsatisfactory performance. Among the sidelined players were Vincent Aboubakar, Valentin Rongier, Eric Bailly, Rachid Ghezzal, and Jean Onana.
