Cameroonian defender Pascal Eboussi has made his official debut for Negele Arsi Ketema in the Ethiopian Premier League.
The former AS Vita Club centre-back featured in his side’s 0-1 defeat to Saint George SC on Wednesday afternoon, marking his first appearance since signing a two-year contract with the club earlier this month.
Despite the result, Eboussi impressed on his debut — showing tenacity, defensive discipline, and strong positioning throughout the contest.
The 26-year-old, who is represented looked composed at the back and adapted quickly to the rhythm of the Ethiopian championship.
Newly promoted Negele Arsi Ketema will be counting on Eboussi’s experience and leadership to steady their defensive line as the season progresses.
The Douala-born defender has previously played in Cameroon, the United States, and the DR Congo, and his move to Ethiopia represents another step in a career defined by resilience and steady growth.
