Cameroonian defender Frank Atsama has completed a move to Homs Al Fidaa Sports Club, a side competing in the Syrian Premier League, on a one-year deal.
The 22-year-old centre-back, known for his powerful free-kicks and aerial dominance, joins from AS Fortuna of Yaoundé after previously turning out for Bamboutos FC of Mbouda in the Cameroon top flight.
Atsama, a dead-ball specialist and goal-scoring defender, has built a reputation for his composure at the back and his ability to influence games from set-pieces. His consistency and leadership qualities have also earned him a previous invitation to the Cameroon national team, reflecting his growing profile on the local and international scene.
Homs Al Fidaa are banking on Atsama’s experience and versatility to strengthen their defensive line as they push for a strong campaign in Syria’s top division this season.
