Former Uganda U-20 side Head Coach Jackson Mayanja has officially been appointed the new Head coach at Uganda Premier league side Kampala City council Authority Football Club.
The gaffer comes in on interim basis till the end of June.
Mayanja,replaces Morley Byekwaso who resigned following the club’s elimination in the Uganda Cup by Bright Stars on Sunday evening.
A legend at KCCA FC , Mayanja is expected to turn things around as the club still eyes winning the top flight division and a return to continental football.
The 13 Uganda Champions sit in the second position ,five points behind SC Villa who have played more games.
Commonly known as “ Mia Mia ” made his debut for KCCA FC in 1987 and previously coached the same side in 2005.
During his football career ,he played for only four clubs that is KCCA FC (Uganda) Esperance ( Tunisia ) and Lowi FC (Oman)
