Cameroonian coach Agbor Ernest Ako has added another remarkable chapter to his football journey after guiding Liberian side Black Man Warrior FC to Orange Cup glory.
The club secured the prestigious trophy on Sunday with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Shaita FC in the final, earning not only domestic silverware but also a place in next season’s CAF Confederation Cup.
For Agbor, the achievement is the latest milestone in a coaching career that has seen him work with some of Cameroon’s most prominent clubs. The experienced tactician has previously held coaching roles at Coton Sport FC, Union Douala, UMS de Loum and Bamboutos FC, while also serving as Technical Adviser at ISOHSA Limbe.
Before making his mark on the touchline, Agbor enjoyed a respected playing career as one of Cameroon’s dependable defenders. He featured for PWD Bamenda and Union Douala among other clubs, earning a reputation for his leadership, discipline and defensive solidity.
His success in Liberia reflects both his experience and adaptability, qualities that have helped him build a reputation across different football environments. With Black Man Warrior FC now set to compete on the continental stage, Agbor will have another opportunity to showcase his expertise when the club begins its CAF Confederation Cup campaign next season.
The Orange Cup triumph is not only a significant achievement for Black Man Warrior FC but also another proud moment for Cameroonian coaching on the African football scene.
