Cameroonian forward Harrison Ford Djonkep has completed a move to Luxembourg, joining FC UNA Strassen as the club continue their campaign at the top of the Luxembourg National Division 1 Championship.
The Luxembourg-based club announced the arrival of the former Eding Sport attacker, who makes the switch after spending last season with Cameroonian giants Cotonsport of Garoua.
Djonkep arrives at Strassen with experience from Cameroon’s top flight, having previously featured for Eding Sport before his move to Cotonsport. His latest transfer represents a new chapter in his career and his first reported move outside Cameroon.
The forward will now be expected to bring his attacking qualities to a Strassen side currently leading the Luxembourg championship. His arrival comes at an important stage of the campaign as the club looks to maintain its position at the summit and push for domestic success.
For Djonkep, the move offers an opportunity to test himself in European football and gain valuable experience in Luxembourg’s competitive top division.
