AFA Foot records 3-0 against ASCIP FC as the Corperate tournament opens in Douala

The APECAM football Association (AFA) has beaten the Association of petroleum companies (ASCIP) three zero, in the curtain raiser of the 2023 corperate tournament.

The competition which opened on Saturday April 15 at the Mbappe Leppe stadium, saw both sides flex their muscles for over 30minutes before Pouaki Ntoko opened scores for the bankers association.

Dipital Francis will double the lead just minutes before half time, finishing off his second and third for the team, through a free kick into the last 45minutes.

ASCIP will struggle to get at least a goal, but their efforts will all amount to nut as the men on black raised their flags for offside.

This game sets the ball rolling for the first corperate tournament under the new fecafoot government.

Roger Nyassa Nyassa , president of the National Cooperate and Veterans Football Commission, alongside other dignitaries in Douala, chaired the opening.

The corperate tournament will be played in two categories; the Cooperate on one hand, and the veterans on the other. Cooperates consist of workers from different enterprises , who are above 18years . While the Veterans are fitness groups consisting of players above 35years.

The tournament will take part in the center, littoral and west region of the country from April 15 to 30th, with each of these three regions required to submit two champions , to play the national corperate tournament.
