Aigle Royal du Moungo have secured the services of Agbor Tarkang Clinton, with the former Cameroon Intermediate Lions forward joining the Nkongsamba-based club ahead of the new season.

Clinton arrives at Aigle Royal with valuable experience from Cameroon’s domestic championship, having previously represented Victoria United, Avion Academy, Best Stars Academy of Limbe and Isle of Hope Sports Academy (ISOHSA).

The forward enjoyed a particularly productive spell with ISOHSA, where his goals and attacking performances helped the Limbe side during their battle for survival in the 2023/24 MTN Elite Two campaign.

One of his standout performances came in the relegation playoffs against Leopard Sportif, where Clinton scored twice to help ISOHSA complete a crucial comeback victory.

His performances did not go unnoticed at national level. Clinton was subsequently called up to the Cameroon Intermediate Lions in October 2024 as the national side prepared for the CHAN qualifiers. At the time of his call-up, he had registered four goals and three assists in his previous seven matches for ISOHSA.

The attacker has also been part of Cameroon’s U-20 setup, giving him experience within the national-team system.

His arrival represents an important addition to Aigle Royal du Moungo’s attacking options. Clinton brings pace, movement and a proven ability to contribute goals, while his experience across several Cameroonian clubs could prove valuable as the club targets a strong campaign.

For Clinton, the move represents another opportunity to take his career to the next level and revive his ambitions of returning to the national-team picture.

Aigle Royal du Moungo will now hope the forward can reproduce the form that earned him recognition with ISOHSA and the Intermediate Lions as he begins a new chapter in Nkongsamba.
