2023 Africa Women’s Volleyball Championship:Cameroon shines in opener

The Cameroon Women’s Volleyball national selection,on August 16, picked their first victory in the opening game of the competition against Burundi.

The players of coach Peter Nonnebroich crushed,their opponents by a 3-0 score,at the Yaounde Multipurpose Sports Complex.

The Volleyball Women’s lionesses now top group A, composed of Nigeria, Burundi, Making, Algeria and Egypt.

While group B contains, Kenya, Morocco, Rwanda, Uganda, Lesotho and Burkina Faso

The Cameroonian team are three times, title holders of the prestigious African volleyball Jamboree.

The twelve nations African Women’s volleyball games, are unfolding at the Mfandena Gymnasium and at the Yaounde Multipurpose Sports Complex.
