Volleyball: Davina Ngameni gets Seneca’s Best Player Awards

20-year-old Cameroon Women’s Volleyball national team back -row player, Reine Davina Ngameni has been crowned overall Best Player at Canadian side Seneca Sting. The ceremony took place on Thursday, April 8.

Davina’s incredible season, was marked by her five prestigious individual recognitions, in the Canadian volleyball league.

Named MVP for Seneca Sting’s volleyball team and school’s best athlete of the year in all disciplines, Ngameni was named by OCCA (Ontario Colleges Athletic Association), to the “First Team All Star and East Division Player” of the year 2023 and concluded with All Canadian trophy.

Trained by the refoundation team, that has overseen the 2021 African Volleyball champion since 2013.

Davina left an impressive record with Seneca last season after joining from from Bafia Volleyball Evolution.

Reputed for her fast and tactical understanding of the game, Davina is considered to be the future of Cameroon’s volleyball.
