Vincent Aboubakar gets brace in Besiktas’ 4-1 win against Adana

Cameroonian forward Vincent Aboubakar scored twice to help Besiktas to a 4-1 win against Adana Demirspor on Sunday in match day 35 of the Turkish Super League championship.

The hit man scored his first and last goal as the Black and Whites whitewashed their host at the New Adana Stadium.

Besiktas came into the game counting on Aboubakar’s goal scoring poweresss and the boy from Garoua didn’t disappoint.

The visitors were in total control of the first segment of the game but failed to take their chances earlier in the game.

Moroccan midfielder Younes Belhanda found the back of the Besiktas net just 19 minutes into the game.

Aboubakar finally scores the equalizer in the fourth minute of added time in the first segment, rewarding Besiktas for their efforts.

Gelson Fernandez made it 2-1 in the first minute of the second-half before Cenk Tosun made it 3-1.

Aboubakar, who allow the first penalty to Tosun took the second deep into the second segment and made it 4-1 for Besiktas.

The win took Besiktas above Adana, and into the third spot in the Turkish Super League with 70 points from 35 games

Aboubakar who only arrived in January this year has put himself in the running for the golden boot by scoring 12 goals and provided one assist in 14 games so far.
