Team Kwara under the tutelage of coach Ogunlana Seun performed excellently well at the final of the 2023 Teqball World Championship Qualifiers in Abuja.
The final for the Qualifiers took place on Sunday, September 24, 2024.
In the men’s singles final, Team Kwara’s Victor Oyemade defeated Team Delta’s Khalid Yahaya.
For the women’s singles final, Team Kwara’s Rasheedat Salahu beat Team Delta.
The team also won the mixed doubles final.
Added to the accolade, the Teqball team from the state of harmony won the men’s double final with Funto Funsho and Victor Oyemade representing the state.
The winners have qualified for the 2023 Teqball World Championship in Bangkok, Thailand.
The World Championship will take place from November 29 to December 3, 2023.
