Kumba City FC have joined Isle of Hope Sports Academy in the finals of the regional playoffs after a 3-1 aggregate victory over Njalla Quan Sports Academy of Limbe, thanks to Junior Albert Sona and Abena Jorda while Nini Junior Silass scored the consolatory goal.

Sona opened scores at the 1st minute of play, a fast one sent to the back of Kassouloum Issa’s net from an absent minded defense.

The second segment was seemingly a replica of the first leg encounter, as all efforts from Njalla Quan strikers were considered to be offsides.

Coach Teteh Edwin’s substitutions were seemingly of no use as his players who gave their all on the turf and got the better of Kumba City, could do nothing to save the game.

Abena Jordan came off the bench to give Kumba City the lead at the 66th minute, barely five minutes after making his entry to the turf.

Jordan outsmarted Isma who couldn’t get a grip of the ball but helped the opponent send it more inside.

The score line remained the same until the referee’s final blast. The two finalists will be making their debut in this stage of the competition in the days ahead

The Bimbia boys gave all on the pitch and had a greater possession of the ball to their advantage, unfortunately, Kumba City emerged victors to set up next date with ISOHSA.
