Italian Serie A side, Sampdoria for which Samuel Eto’o played 18 matches and scored twice are closing on the signing of experience Cameroonian forward Jean Pierre Junior Nsame from Young Boys Berne of Switzerland.
The current Swiss Super League top scorer who was part of the Cameroon squad at the 2022 FIFA World Cup last month in Qatar is said to have held fruitful talks to bring the ex Spezia striker.
Nsame’s nine goals and two assists in 15 games this season for Young Boys plus his goal scoring history is the reason Sampdoria authorities in search of a striker are giving their all to get him.
In all Nsame has scored 114 goals and assisted 33 in 197 games for Young Boys which makes him a cult hero.
The ex-SCO Angers forward could be on his way out of Albi again, hoping that this time around it works well.
The poacher could set up a new home Stadio Luigi Ferraris if coach Dejan Stanković’s wish of getting him on board by president Marco Lanna.
