The Relationship between Napoli and Victor Osimhen have gone sour,after she posted a TikTok video making a mockery of him for missing a penalty against Bologna,that could have given Napoli a win on Sunday.
A second video, allegedly from the club’s account compared Osimhen to a coconut, widely viewed as a racial slur went viral. But was later deleted.
Osimhen,has deleted all photos and videos featuring in a Napoli shirt, from his social media handles. As well as, removing the club’s name from his online biography.
The Super Eagles goal poacher and agent have opted, to file a legal case against Napoli following the pejorative gesture.
The 24-year-old striker,
who was a target for English clubs Chelsea and Manchester United during the summer transfer window, was in the process of negotiating a contract extension with Napoli, with his current deal ending in June 2025.
He was signed by Napoli from Lille for a club-record fee of €70 million in 2021, a transfer which is now being investigated by Italian authorities.
He helped the Serie A giant, to secure their first league title in three decades, scoring 62 goals in 107 appearances for Napoli.
