22-year-old Cameroon international forward Danny Namaso Mesumbe, was on target in FC Porto’s 2-1 win against FC Santa Clara.
This was in match day 28 of the Portuguese Championship, at the Estadio Dragao in Porto.
The former Reading FC striker climbed off the bench, at the 67th minutes of the encounter. And later scored at the 80th minutes to put his side on 2-0 lead.
But FC Santa managed to reduced the score on extra time, thanks to Tagawa ending the encounter on a 2-1 final score.
FC Porto’s victory puts her on 67 pts, 4 points behind Benfica on 71 points.
With eight days left for the end of the league, the race for the title promises to be electrifying for the two Portuguese league heavyweights.
