The FUFA Women’s Super league (FWSL) made return after the international break with games played across different stadia in the country.

For the games played on Saturday and Sunday ,the battle for places in the division continues with three games to seal season.

Kawempe Muslim continued their impressive run with a 2#1 victory over resilient Asubo Gafford.

Shakira Nyinagahirwa was once again the heroin after her brace cancelled Naigaga Kamiyat’s first goal.

The clash proved to be an enticing derby for the fans in Kawempe.

Asubo had gone seven games without defeat until Saturday morning.

The valley warriors now sit in the second position while Asubo in the eighth, one point above the relegation zone.

Spoils were shared in Masindi after a goalless draw between the 2022 Champions and Lady Doves.

The point leaves the sharks in the fifth position while Lady Doves will look to next games to boost survival chances.

Lady Doves haven’t picked a win since the start of the second round in the league.

Uganda Martyrs completed a league double over the Cardinals on Saturday evening.

First half goals from Kigongo Auki and Sumaya Nalumu saw the Kiddawalime girls ease past the home side.

The victory ensured Uganda Martyrs continued pressure on second placed side Kawempe Muslim who are one point above them.

Rines SS put a fighted spirit in Wakiso to boost their survival chnces with a 3#2 over relegation threatened side Makerere.

The five-goal thriller was a massive tier as both sides still have unfinished business to stay in the top-flight division.

The victory on Sunday morning pushed Rines to the sixth point while Makerere remain bottom of the log table.

The game was graced by Crested Cranes custodian Ruth Aturo who checked on both camps.

The victory extends the Queens of Soccer run who haven’t suffered any defeat since the start of the season.
