ISOHSA’s Egbe Tiku scoops MVP at Amoureux Elite 1 & 2 Awards

Isle of Hope Sports Academy (ISOHSA) playmaker Egbe Tiku Albert was voted amateur player of 2023 during Saturday’s Amoureux Elite 1 & 2 award ceremony in Yaoundé.

The 19-year-old who scooped the most valuable player (MVP) in the Southwest Regional championship and the national interpools this season, added another trophy to his individual collection after the jury unanimously settled for him ahead of other contenders.

Tiku enjoyed an unforgettable season, finishing as top scorer at the interpools with five goals and three assists in six games. Adding to his seven Regional League goals and five assists across the breakthrough season.

The playmaker noted for his exceptional ball retention ability was at the center of his club’s brilliant performances across the season.

Tiku who began his career at the Eteki Esoh Memorial Sports Academy has enjoyed his best football in his start-up career since joining ISOHSA from Destiny Restoration Academy just under a year ago.
