Henri Paul Tchikeu: Canon’s Mr One goal per match in the Playoffs

Henri Paul Tchikeu of Canon of Yaounde was arguably amongst the standout players for Canon in their second match of the ongoing MTN Elite One Playoffs taking place in Douala.

Tchikeu scored one and assisted another as Canon of Yaounde saw off a resilient Gazelle FA of Garoua side at the Reunification Stadium in Douala, Thursday May 18, 2023.

His goal means that he has now scored in all two matches of Canon in the Playoffs.

Henri Paul Tchikeu created Canon’s first goal at the 44th minute of the match when he delivered a perfect cross that was scored by Emmanuel Mahop Dikongue.

In the second half of the match, Henri Paul Tchikeu continued mesmerizing the defenders of Gazelle FA of Garoua and at the 89th minute of play, he received a cross in the 18yards area from Joel Marius Ngon A Tiati and scored calmly to double scores for Canon.

Henri Paul Tchikeu has now scored two goals in the MTN Elite One Playoffs and he has also recorded an assist to his name.
