Grand Prix Chantal Biya: MINSEP chairs cyclists presentation ceremony

Cameroon’s Sports and Physical Education Minister Professor, Narcisse Mouelle Kombi, while in Kribi on October 2,chaired the official presentation ceremony of the various teams expected to participate in the 23rd edition of the Chantal Biya International Cycling Tour.

Speaking,at the opening ceremony the Sports and Physical Education Boss, urged on the cyclists,to compete with the respect of Olympic values.

The rich and colourful event marked by much sound and splendor, witnessed the massive turn of the South region elites, administrative authorities, top government officials of the Ocean division and denizens of the sea side resort town of Kribi.

A total number of ten teams, shall part-take in the bicycle Jamboree. The various teams presented constitutes ;Cameroon, France, Rwanda, Gabon, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, morocco and Slovakia.

The first lap of the race shall unfold, over a distance of 109km,in the town of Kribi with start point to be at the Hotel Panoramique round about.

Cameroon has for plenipotentiaries, the National Cycling Team and the SNH Velo Club.
