Easther Kellsy Philomene Mayi Kith played full throttle on Sunday to help her club to a 2-0 win against Durham FC on match day five of the FA Women’s Championship.

Fresh from a disappointing international break with the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon, Mayi started for coach Louis Gilbert.

Second-half goals Freya Gregory and Amelia Elwood did the job for the visitors at the Graham Sports center Durham University to lift them off the bottom half of the table.

Reading entered the contest on the heel three draws and a defeat so far and needed a victory to lift the atmosphere in the dressing room.

Mayi and mates dominated the game from start to finish and were rewarded through two particular second-half moments.

Forward Gregory beat Naoisha McAloon in goal for the host after 61 minutes while Elwood scored the second in borrowed time to secure the victory.

The game finished 2-0 in favor of the visitors who moves up to the seventh spot in the table with six points so far.
