Cameroon’s U17 women’s national team continue their build-up to the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup Morocco 2025 with a friendly match against Ecuador on Monday at 5pm.
The encounter marks the Lionesses’ third and final test game in their acclimatisation programme, following earlier friendlies against China and hosts Morocco.
The team will depart for Rabat on Tuesday (14 October) to settle in for the tournament proper, which kicks off on 17 October.
Drawn in Group B, Cameroon open their World Cup campaign against the Netherlands on 18 October at 8pm. They will then face North Korea on 21 October (2pm) before rounding off the group phase against Mexico on 24 October (8pm).
The 2025 edition in Morocco marks Cameroon’s first appearance at the U17 Women’s World Cup since 2018, as the young Lionesses look to make a strong impression on their return to the global stage.
The final of the tournament is scheduled for 8 November 2025.
