Elite One: YOSA unveils new technical staff

Cameroon Elite One club, Yong Sports Academy of Bamenda have unveiled their new technical staff few days after the start of the 2023/2024 football season.

Ndikum Blaise Tengoh has been appointed head coach of Yong Sports Academy. The CAF License “A” holder will be the lead trainer of the team for the 2023/2024 football season.

 

He takes over the position vacated by Coach Momo David who was relieved off his duties few playing days into the 2022/2023

Coach Ndikum Blaise Tengoh who hails from Awing, Santa subdivision in the North West region of Cameroon began his coaching career with Azob Strikers of Santa in 2011 before joining FC Bamenda as assistant coach a year later.

He also took charge of the INJS Male football team from 2013 to 2015. Between 2015 to 2017, he was coach of AS Sanaga and Mballa Academy in Yaounde.

Ndikum Blaise Tengoh also worked as assistant coach of PWD Bamenda and head coach of Rangers FC Bafut.

Until his appointment as head coach of Yong Sports Academy Bamenda, Ndikum Blaise Tengoh was serving YOSA, as assistant coach in charge of fitness.

At the national level, he is currently working as the physical trainer of the U20 national football team of Cameroon. The team recently won the gold medal in the Francophonie Games in DR Congo.

Coach Ndikum Blaise is a certified FIFA Fitness coach.

Meanwhile, Atangana Ngandi Gregoire has been appointed the deputy head coach.

The CAF License “A” holder, also brings in a lot of experience into YOSA after having worked head coach of YAFOOT, AS FAP, AS Lausanne and Aigle of Menoua. He has also been deputy head coach of the Cameroon National U15 men team, the National Women’s U20 team and Eding Sports of Lekie.

Born on March 8, 1979, Atangana Ngandi has previously emerged Elite Two champions with AS Lausanne (2009/2010) and with YAFOOT (2017/2018). He has been vice champion of Cameroon with Eding Sports and Cup of Cameroon finalist with AS FAP.
