The Ethics committee of the Cameroon football federation (FECAFOOT) has banned president Donald Ngameni from the sport for the rest of his life.

The decision that has filtered on social media this Monday, September 4 states that Ngameni who has been president of Unisport of Bafang in the past two years is guilty of defrauding a certain Jean Paul Makossa.

As a consequence, Ngameni, 27, has banned from all football related activities and fined 10 Million FCFA ($16455) per the decision signed by defunct ethics committee vice president, Tomo Bernabe.

Origin of the matter

Our team stumbled on a leaked audio a few weeks back which revealed that Ngameni had a financial deal with the said player to secure him a place in the national team which never happened.

The player recently reported the case to the ethics committee of FECAFOOT, who took advantage of the situation to clamp down on Ngameni.

Ngameni ban clears the path for Alain Monthe to take over Unisport of Bafang as FECAFOOT had been pushing for.
