34-year-old Ivorian International glove-man, Sylvain Gbohouo has penned a new deal, with one of Ivory Coast’s most mythic club Stade Abidjan.
The former Siewe Sport goalkeeper’s signing, took place on August 8,in Abidjan. Although the terms of the contract were not disclosed.
It should be noted that, Ghohouo had served an 18 months banned by FIFA from football, after being tested positive for trimetazdine, a drug banned because it can boost endurance, after a 2022 World Cup qualification defeat to Cameroon on November 16.
Sylvain counts 65 caps with the Elephants of Ivory Coast. An was part of the Ivorian golden generation,who won the 2015 African Cup of Nations,under the technical supervisor of the french-gaffer Herve Renard.
