Ahead of the crucial rescheduled match day 12 tie against Rivers United in porthacourt , Ondo state, Commissioner youth development and sports , Ologunloluwa Bamidele has charged players of Sunshine stars FC to see Monday’s tie as one that will redefine their season and their career.
The commissioner was speaking when he addressed the players this Sunday at the team’s hotel in Porthacourt.
“Ologunloluwa reiterated the government’s will at ensuring that the players are motivated well at all times which has been a top priority.
Skipper of the team, Abe Sunday who spoke on behalf of his colleagues appreciated efforts of the state government especially the sports commissioner who is always ready to give prompt support at all times.
“A win for Sunshine stars against Rivers united tomorrow will place the team at a vantage position in B of the abridged league with a last league game against already relegated Dakkada FC.”
