Kwara NDLEA Commander attends State’s Federation Cup Final as Kwara Utd beat ABS

CN Mohammed Bashir Ibrahim who is the Commander of the Kwara State NDLEA Command on Saturday, March 30, attended the Final of the State’s Federation Cup at the KFA Pitch inside the Kwara State Stadium where Kwara United defeated arch rivals ABS 2-1.

On his arrival at the KFA, CN Mohammed Bashir Ibrahim was received by the Kwara FA Chairman, Idris Musa Turaya, Executive Chairman of the Kwara Sports Commission, Mallam Bola Mogaji and the General Manager of Kwara United, Bashir Badawiy.

Before the kickoff of the Male Final, the Kwara FA Chairman Mallam Idris Musa Turaya invited Kwara NDLEA Commander to decorate Kwara Ladies who are champions for the year 2024.

After the match, Kwara NDLEA Commander, Mohammed Bashir Ibrahim was decorated with a medal with the FA thanking him for his contributions towards the development of the round leather game.

The Commander was also among the special dignitaries who decorated Kwara United players after emerging champions of the 2024 State’s Federation Cup.

Kwara FA Chairman, Idris Musa Turaya, while speaking after the match thanked Kwara NDLEA Commander and also seeked for synergy between the Command and the Football Association in efforts towards combating ilicit drugs among footballers in Kwara State.

The General Manager of Kwara United, Bashir Badawiy, stated that he is looking forward to have the Kwara NDLEA Commander at their Secretariat so as for him to sensitize the players on the dangers in enhancing drugs.
