Thirteen Uganda Premier league champions Kampala City council Authority Football Club have accepted to enter into a partnership with FWSL side Kampala Queens.
The deal sees KCCA FC agreeing to take on the Queen of Soccer as it’s sole women Football club.
The partnership between the two clubs is expected to run for a period of 3 years with effect from 1St July to 30th June 2026.
Kampala Queens are expected to retain it’s Brand identity with change in venue to host it’s games from MTN Omondi Stadium.
The Lugogo based side will also provide technical and knowledge exchange to Kampala Queens FC ‘s technical team in efforts for the growth of the game in the country.
This development comes into force after CAF instructing teams competing in the continental competitions for the fourth coming season to own a women team as part of the Club licensing regulations.
KCCA FC will be representing Uganda at the CAF Confederations cup competition in the next campaign.
