Stéphane Mbia, former Indomitable Lions captain, has been honored by Olympique de Marseille (OM) as part of the club’s 125th anniversary celebrations. In recognition of his significant contributions and time spent at the club, Mbia received the prestigious OM Legends Trophy on May 2
Mbia joined Marseille in 2009 and played three seasons with the club, making 102 appearances and scoring five goals.
During his time at OM, he was instrumental in the club’s success, helping Marseille win five major trophies: the Ligue 1 title in 2010, three Coupe de la Ligue titles (2010, 2011, 2012), and the Trophée des Champions in 2011.His dynamic presence in midfield and defense made him a fan favorite and a key figure in one of the club’s most successful eras.
