Bamboutos of Mbouda’s striker Eugene Patrice Ejenguele will be laid to rest this Friday December 9,2023 in Douala.
The 20-years-old striker’s remains will be removed at the Bonassama district hospital on friday and will be taken to his parents house in Bonamikano in the Douala four district.
A wake has been programmed for Friday night with burial rights to preceed on Saturday at the Bonaberi graveyard.
Fans of his club Bamboutos de Mbouda residing in Douala, have been making arrangements to offer their last respect to this player that won the team her first league title in years.
Patrice Enjenguele’s demise will forever sadden the football community as his passing constantly reminds many of the precarious situation many players face on a daily.
Ejenguele who was returning from an inter quarter game in Dibombari was involved in an accident alongside three others.
He suffered a fracture vertebrate from this accident which led to his untimely departure.
His legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of those who knew him and loved him. He will be remembered as a talented and courageous player who scored a superb goal against Cotonsport in the 2022 Trophee des champions.
