Ngong Innocent, the Mayor of Belo and recently-appointed president of the Cameroon football federation (FECAFOOT) divisional League has been killed in a crossfire this Monday, May 20th in Belo.
Kick442.com has gathered from Municipal Updates that terrorists attacked and killed at least two persons including Mayor of Belo Council, Dr Ngong Innocent and Dr Aghi Aaron Ngong, the Inspector of Basic Education in Belo subdivision today while they were at the celebration grounds for the National Day of Unity celebration in the Northwest Region of Cameroon.
Mayor Ngong received a bullet from the gunmen and passed on to eternity even before they got to the hospital.
His mortal remains have been deposited at the mortuary while pending further investigation and formalities.
The fine administrator who was appointed president of the FECAFOOT Divisional championship of Boyo leaves the political and football family to mourn him.
