The Ikon Allah Boys will be up against NPFL debutants Sporting Lagos in this weekend’s Match Day 5 encounter slated for Onikan Stadium in Lagos this Sunday.

Tornadoes are targeting their first road point(s) this season haven narrowly suffered two slim defeats on the road in Umuahia and Awka, 1-0 and 2-1 to Abia Warriors and Rangers respectively.

This weekend’s hosts, Sporting Lagos are winless in three games, with two draws and a defeat. Their last home game ended in a draw against Doma United.

Niger Tornadoes are looking to build on an impressive home record with two wins out of two, while searching for an away point to further boost their placement on the log.

This is going to be the first official engagement between the two teams.

Akintunde Azeez and Adewale Lasisi have both shaken off an injury that kept them side lined since the start of the season and are available for selection, while last weekend’s goal scorer Yahuza Bala maintained his place in the side.
