December 21,2022 has been set aside, as the official schedule for the resumption of the MTN Elite One Championship, across the various play grounds of the country.
The football fans in Yaounde, Douala, Bafoussam and Garoua will reconnect with their darling football clubs, after a one month recess. Marked by the ongoing 22nd edition of the Qatar World Cup, that saw the participation of the Indomitable lions and is expected to draw it’s curtains on December 19th , 2022 in Doha.
The Qatari World Cup saw the participation of two home-based players for Cameroon, notably winger Jerome Ngom Mbekeli of Colombe Sportif of Dja and Lobo and Coton Sport’s talisman Marou Souaibou,expected to join the South African football division one side Orlando Pirates.
