Mayi Kith seals move to English Women’s super League

Cameroonian defender Easther Mayi Kith, has joined Barclays Women’s super League side Reading FC on a permanent deal till the end of 2023/24.

The club confirmed on Tuesday, that they have secured the services of the 25-year-old from Swedish side Kristianstads DFF.

Before moving to Reading, Mayi Kith featured nine times for Kristianstads DFF, but now favors a new challenge in England.

On the signing of Mayi Kith, Reading FC coach Kelly Chambers said “”We’re delighted to welcome Easther to the club, who will provide us with another option in defence. She is someone who can hit the ground running straight away for the second half of the season, as well a long term. I’m really looking forward to working with her.”

Reading FC Currently occupies the 10th spot on the Barclays Women’s super League, with just seven points recorded from 12 games.

Mayi who has represented both Canada and Cameroon, is expected to bring in lots of experience gathered through her time with the likes of Dynamo de Quebec, Montpellier, Metz and Reims.
