“François Mughe has extended his contract with Olympique de Marseille and is now linked to the Olympian colors until 2028.”
The 19-year-old, who came through the ranks of the Brasseries Football School of Cameroon, joined the OM training center in June 2022 for five seasons, will now see his stay move up to 2028.
The press release also made mention of Mughe’s exceptional skills with the youth and reserves squad for this Ligue one side, sitting his one goal scored in nine appearances for the senior team as a reason to keep him for an additional year.
“Arriving in the summer of 2022 at the Olympian training center, the 19-year-old winger extended his contract with OM by one season, until 2028. Having played for the U19 and N3 teams, the Cameroonian U23 international has already made 9 appearances and one goal in official competition with the first team”
Mughe is a key player for the Cameroon U23 team. The 19-year-old winger, who made his debut for the senior side in August in the AFCON qualifiers against Burundi, is expected to be part of Rigobert Song’s provisional 55-man squad for the continental tournament.
