First-half goals from Marie Gisele Nga Manga and Raissa Nnanga were enough to see Lekie football filles claim their second title this season.

These 2023 League winners got the best of AS Fortuna at the Ahmadou Ahidjo’s sports complex to lift their very first Cameroon cup trophy.

Nga Manga left the entire audience in awe, with a beautiful display to put Lekie In front a few minutes into the game. Raissa Nnanga ensured Lekie won the trophy, punishing Fortuna few minutes to the end of the first half with a second goal from the spot.

This is the second clean sheet kept by the side in this competition. Coach Stephane Ndzana’s girls netted 21 goals, conceding three, with Caiman Filles feeling the most heart, 8 goals scored in the semi-finals.

The trio Nga Manga, Raissa Nnanga and Brenda Tabe were unstoppable, as they greatly contributed to Lekie’s success this season.

These results come to conclude a phenomenal 2022/2023 for these women. Lekie clears their account for this season with 88 goals in all competition.
