Struggling Cameroon Elite One championship side PWD of Bamenda, have announced the immediate suspension of their interim coach Alain Roger Nseme, this following a board decision on Monday, March 6.

kick442.com understands the club communicated the decision to the coach this Tuesday and issued a release to confirm the move.

“PWD SFC of Bamenda after careful consideration, has indefinitely suspended the interim coach and physical fitness trainer Nseme Roger Alain. Further details will be provided later,” a club statement read.

Nseme initially joined the Club as fitness trainer in the build up to the current season, but replaced Martin Nkabyo who was sacked as head coach in October 2022.

In 11 games as interim coach, he stirred the club to four wins, one draw and six defeats.

Last Sunday’s 0-2 defeat against Stade Renard was the last game in the dugout for the former Aigle Royal and Unisport of Bafang trainer.

Though the team got all of its 13 points this season under Nseme, he couldn’t help them out of the relegation zone, thus prompting the decision to sanction his suspension.

The Abakwa Boys have returned to work this Tuesday morning in preparations for their next league outing against Avion Academy of Douala.

There will be a third technical leader in the PWD dugout during their Match Day 16 game the MTN Elite One championship in Bamendzi this weekend.

Inside sources indicates that, former Foncha Street FC gaffer Soh Simplis Magloire and former PWD Technical Director Tama Wango will prepare the team ahead of their upcoming fixtures.
