Former Djiko FC and Intermediate Indomitable Lions coach Yves Clement Arroga has been appointed head coach of Cameroon Elite One club Bamboutos FC of Mbouda.
Arroga, 51, has signed an 18-months contract and will officially take charge of the MTN Elite One side from March 7.
He replaces Ina Ngasa who departs the role having guided the club to top spot in Pool B of the abridged championship but failed to win in the last two games. Ina has been promoted to the role of the technical director.
Arroga, trained by the Spanish Football Federation trained manager has been out of management since leaving rival MTN Elite One side Djiko FC last season but inherits a demanding task.
Arroga’s first outing will be against struggling Union Sportive of Douala this weekend.
Sunce his return to Cameroon, the former TKC player hasn’t had a chance to really assert himself in his country as a coach. The Bamboutos FC job and the expectations about it is a real chance for him to showcase his knowhow.
