Ismael Saibari has officially completed a permanent transfer from PSV Eindhoven to FC Bayern Munich, with the Bundesliga champions confirming the signing on Wednesday.
The 25-year-old Moroccan international has signed a long-term contract that will keep him at Bayern until 30 June 2031. Saibari will join his new club after completing Morocco’s FIFA World Cup campaign and has chosen the No. 34 shirt.
Bayern’s board member for sport, Max Eberl, described Saibari as one of the most exciting attacking players currently in world football, revealing that the club had been tracking him for a long time before securing his signature. Sporting director Christoph Freund also praised the Moroccan’s versatility, technical quality and ability to make an impact in the final third.
Speaking after the announcement, Saibari said joining Bayern is a dream come true.
“Joining FC Bayern is a childhood dream. This is one of the biggest clubs in the world, and I want to win every possible title here, especially the Champions League.”
Saibari arrives after an outstanding spell with PSV, where he made 142 appearances, scored 42 goals, and played a key role in the club’s run of Eredivisie titles. He has also impressed for Morocco at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, further enhancing his reputation as one of Africa’s brightest attacking talents. Reports indicate the deal is worth around €55 million, although Bayern have not officially disclosed the transfer fee.
The move marks another major milestone in Saibari’s career as he prepares to begin a new chapter with the German champions, where he is expected to strengthen Bayern’s attacking options ahead of the 2026/27 season.
