The fourth day of the Guinness Super League Act 4, played on Sunday 12 November 2023, was prolific in goals, with 11 recorded. It was a fine performance that earned her the unanimous title of Woman Of Guinnessico at the end of the game. Proud of this fine victory after losing 1-3 to Lékié FF on the previous matchday, Francis Kololo and the Sa’a princesses can now look forward to Matchday 5, when they take on Caïman Filles. AS Awa, for their part, will face Eding Football Filles from Lékié.

Amazone FAP lost 0-1 to Ita Mbong

The North-western club had already caused a sensation on the first day of Act 4 of the Guinness Super League. They beat AS Awa 2-1. This time around, Nkambe’s girls overthrew another top-ranked side in the Amazone FAP women’s league. Shey Blessing snatched victory from Amazone FAP on a the penalty spot. The girls from Forces Armées et Police were unable to reduce the deficit and went down to the final whistle. Beaten 1-2 by AS Fortuna in J3, Ita Mbong got back on track this time against FAP. On the next matchday, FAP will meet FC Ebolowa, the current leaders and unbeaten so far. Ita Mbong, meanwhile, will meet Dja Sports Academy from Meyomessala.

Louves Minproff beat AS Fortuna 2-0

In Annexe A of the Olembe stadium, the girls from Mfou lost 0-2 to the ministerial club. Émilienne Endale and Audrey Siliki were the only scorers in the match. It was a blow for AS Fortuna, who had put in a fine performance the previous day. Louves Minproff will face Authentic Ladies FC of Douala. Fortuna and Lékié, the two losers on the day, will face each other in a Guinnessico.

Lékié FF fell to FC Ebolowa 1-2

Lékié FF and FC Ebolowa, second and first respectively in the unofficial standings for Matchday 3 of Act 4 of the Guinness Super League, met in Annexe A of the Olembe stadium. It was a head-to-head clash that ended in a 2-1 victory for the girls from the south of the country over those from the centre. It was a first in the league between the two clubs, who had never before seen a winner and a loser. Lékié FF had taken the lead through Marly Confidence. Caïman Filles drowns Eding Sport Filles de la Lékié 2-1

It was a trip into troubled waters for the girls from Eding Sport in Lékié. They were swallowed up in the wouri by the 2-1 girls. Eding were the first to open the scoring in the 54th minute through Clémentine Vanessa Andji. Caiman were soon on top. Three minutes later, Gladys Babette Liapoe snatched an equaliser. Eding did their utmost to regain the lead, but it was Caiman’s Monkam Kamani who gave his club a home win. Eding Sport have now lost 2 games in a row. The club will have to give their all when they face AS Awa next. Caiman, for their part, face Eclair Football Filles from Sa’a.

Authentic Ladies FC from Douala win 1-0 Dja Sports Academy from Meyomessala

After a third day of victories, 3-0 over Eding Sport from Lékié, the girls from Meyomessala will come up against a strong Authentic Ladies team at the Mbappe Leppé stadium in Douala. Authentic Ladies, who drew with FC Ebolowa, will be out for revenge this Sunday against another southern club. And it was captain Tim Shalom Makoma who gave her team the lead on the day. She converted the penalty in the 67th minute. The rest of the game was unchanged, with the Littoral club winning 1-0 against the Sud. Matchday 5 will see Authentic Ladies FC take on Louves Minproff. Dja Sports Academy of Meyomessala and Ita Mbong FC of Nkambe will also face off in a Guinness Super League first.
