Ghana: Ibrahim Sannie to invest massive media know-how at home

Experienced CAF Media Officer, Ibrahim Sannie Daara will be the main resource person at the Ghana Football Association (GFA) refresher course for Media Officers in the country this week.

The GFA will organize training workshops for Communications Directors of all Premier League, Women’s Premier League and Division One League Clubs on September 11& 12, 2023 at the GFA Secretariat.

Communications Directors of the Ghana Premier League Clubs and Women Premier League Clubs as well as Venue Media Officers for their venues will attend the workshop on Monday, September 11, 2023 at 10:00am.

Team Media Officers of the various Division One League Clubs and their respective Venue Media Officers are also expected to attend the workshop on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at 10:00am.

GFA General Secretary Prosper Harrison Addo, GFA Communications Director Henry Asante Twum, Mr. Neil Armstrong Mortagb will join CAF Media Officer Ibrahim Sannie Daara in the transfer of knowledge process.

The workshop is aimed at taking the Media Officers through the Standards of Match day Media Operations as well as other media functions at their respective match venues.

GFA has paid huge interest in Media development in recent years as part of efforts to ensure that it contributes to the goal of bettering football in the West African nation.

Sannie Daara has been CAF Media Officer at multiple Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) and other tournaments over the years.

He was CAF Media Officer at the CAF tournament headquarters in Douala during AFCON 2021 last year alongside Angu Lesley N.A.
