Gazelle FA of Garoua have left their base en route to Douala for the 2022/23 MTN Elite One championship title play-offs tournament.
Information from the club’s communications unit have it that, the ambitious North Region outfit left Garoua at 7:30PM on Tuesday en route to Douala for the four-clubs showdown.

The nursing the ambitions to become the first club to win the Elite One championship title in their first season like Sable of Batie in 1999 is expected to arrive Douala by midnight of Wednesday, May 10.
Coach Alioum Kada has traveled with 25 players and a staff of four persons hoping that will be enough to better the more experienced sides in the tournament.
Gazelle FA won Pool B of the championship ahead of Bamboutos FC of Mbouda, beating Bamboutos FC along the way. They are hoping to keep that form throughout the play-off period between May 14-21.
Gazelle open their title challenge on May 14 against crosstown rivals and holder Cotonsport, before facing 10-time champion Canon Yaounde four days later, and capping it against Bamboutos FC on May 21.
The winner of this season’s championship will get 50 Millions FCFA plus the same amount in ad-ons as the Cameroon football federation (FECAFOOT) led by president Samuel Eto’o Fils has increased the prize money in a bit to get more from the participants.
