The Uganda National Women’s team , Crested Cranes are set to lock horns with the Twiga Stars of Tanzania in an international friendly.

The game comes in the course as both sides are in preparations for the CAF Olympics qualifiers.

This serves as good test to the Crested Cranes camp having been out of action since last year in July.

On Friday , the team held it’s first training session in Lugogo following the announcement of the provisional squad.

Tanzania has had a string of friendlies in the past months ,a double against Algeria in the April international break and the recent encounter with the Copper Queens of Zambia in June.

This fixture will be played on 7th , at Phillip Omondi Stadium , Lugogo. It’s free entrance for all the natives giving room to everyone.

This captilizes on the growing love and interest the citizens have attached to Women’s football after watching the country participate at WAFCON in Morocco.

Uganda play Rwanda while Tanzania face Congo Brazzaville in the Olympics qualifiers scheduled to take place 10-18 July.
