A new mobile application aimed at transforming the fan experience during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco is set to launch in the coming weeks.

Named Yalla, the app is being marketed as a one-stop platform for football supporters travelling to the tournament. It will offer streamlined services for booking tickets, managing visa applications, and accessing exclusive fan experiences.

The app is expected to go live ahead of the tournament’s opening fixtures in December, with developers saying it is designed to make international travel to Morocco easier and more enjoyable for African football fans.

“Yalla is about more than just logistics — it’s about creating memories,” said a spokesperson for Quick Witted Management. “Whether you’re a local fan or flying in from abroad, we want you to experience AFCON 2025 in a way that’s seamless, safe and unforgettable,” Evrard Fulgérale Djissou told kick442.com.

The 35th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations will see 24 teams from across the continent compete in stadiums across Morocco. Host cities include Casablanca, Rabat, Marrakech and Agadir, with hundreds of thousands of fans expected to attend.

With increasing demand for smoother travel and digital-first solutions, Yalla’s developers are positioning the app as a “fan revolution” — not only for AFCON 2025 but for future international tournaments.

The app’s launch comes amid broader efforts by the Moroccan government and CAF (Confederation of African Football) to modernise infrastructure and enhance tourism around the competition.

Supporters are being encouraged to pre-register on the app’s official website, with more details on its launch expected in the coming days.
