- Tsafack Laure will be the only Cameroonian assistant Referee at the 2023 All Africa Games

- The 13th All Africa Games will run from March 8 to 23rd 2024 in Ghana
Eight Referees from the Union of Central African football Federation (UNIFFAC) have been included in the squad of 24 officials selected by CAF to officiate matches in the tournament scheduled for next month in Ghana.
Cameroon’s Tsafack Teikeu Laure Marcelle, Victorine Ngarassoum from Chad are the female assistant Referees retained alongside DR Congo’s Nzigore Zihandoula Rachel and Ngakossa Chancel Cynthia I from Congo Republic.
Tsafack and Ngarassoum join ten other assistants drawn from across the continent; including one official each from Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt , Rwanda, Morocco amongst others.
In the men’s category, Gabon’s Moukagni Moukagni Creque joins Equatorial Guinea’s have been drafted as Referees while Mapangolou Vital Dictim and Oriya Wilfried from Central Africa Republic complete the crack team.
The 24 Referees are expected to be in Ghana from the first week of March while the tournament is scheduled for March 8-23 across Accra and Cape Coast.
These Referees will take charge of the men and women’s U-20 tournaments in Accra and Cape Coast during the period of the games.
During the 13th edition of the games, the women’s football category has hosts Ghana, Tanzania, Ethiopia the teen cranes of Uganda in group A.
In Group B, Nigeria, Senegal, Cameroon and Morocco will battle it out.
For the men’s category, hosts Ghana are joined by debutants, The Gambia, Benin and Congo who won the inaugural edition in Group A.
Meanwhile in the tight Group B, Nigeria, South Sudan, Senegal, Uganda and Tunisia will battle each other for two tickets available for progress into the knockout phase of the competition.
