Lekié FC have added another major name to their ambitious women’s football project, with Cameroon international defender Claudia Manadja Dabda joining the club for the 2026/27 season.

The experienced centre-back arrives from Saudi Arabia, where she captained Al Hilal and established herself as a leader on and off the pitch. A former champion of Africa with Cameroon, Dabda brings international experience, defensive strength and the personality required to lead a team with big ambitions.

Dabda’s arrival sees her link up with Cameroon legend Ajara Nchout Njoya, who is also part of Lekié’s ambitious project. The presence of the two experienced internationals under coach Stéphane Ndzana underlines the club’s determination to build one of the strongest teams in the Guinness Super League.

Lekié are increasingly becoming a destination for established Cameroonian stars returning home, with the club seeking to combine experience with emerging talent as they target domestic success and a place on the African stage.

For Ndzana, the addition of Dabda provides another experienced leader capable of strengthening the heart of his defence, while her partnership with Nchout gives Lekié two players with significant international pedigree.

The project now has a clear objective: challenge for honours in Cameroon and build a team capable of carrying Lekié’s ambitions into the CAF Women’s Champions League. With Dabda and Nchout among the headline names, Lekié are signalling that they intend to be much more than participants in the Guinness Super League.
