The world’s largest bare-knuckle boxing promotion, BKB, has signalled its intention to expand into Cameroon after appointing former Professional Fighters League (PFL) executive Loren Mack as its new Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President of Strategy.
The announcement was made on Wednesday, July 15, with Mack outlining plans to tap into what he described as Cameroon’s “deep pool of fighters” as the organization accelerates its global expansion.
Mack brings more than two decades of executive leadership experience in combat sports. In his new role, he will oversee BKB’s global brand strategy, audience and content growth, broadcast and streaming marketing, live event promotion, as well as marketing initiatives supporting the organization’s sponsorship and commercial partnerships.
As a member of the senior leadership team, he will also help shape BKB’s long-term corporate strategy and drive the organization’s continued international growth.
Before joining BKB, Mack served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications at the PFL, where he played a key role in the promotion’s international expansion. His responsibilities included strategic leadership in marketing, brand development, investor relations, commercial partnerships, media rights and business strategy.
He previously held executive leadership positions at ONE Championship and began his career with the UFC during one of the promotion’s most transformative periods.
I’ve been fortunate to be part of some incredible organizations throughout my career, but I truly believe this represents the biggest opportunity in combat sports today,” Mack said following his appointment.
Highlighting Africa as a key growth market, Mack singled out Cameroon as one of the countries BKB hopes to invest in.
Global expansion isn’t just about reaching new markets—it’s about creating meaningful opportunities. Cameroon is a great example of the incredible talent emerging from Africa, producing elite fighters and world champions who have competed at the highest levels of combat sports.
We believe there’s a deep pool of fighters ready for the global stage, and BKB is committed to discovering new stars, building our roster, and expanding our presence in Cameroon and throughout the continent.”
BKB Chief Executive Officer David Tetreault welcomed Mack’s arrival, describing him as an executive with the experience required to drive the organization’s next phase of growth.
Loren brings a rare combination of strategic vision, marketing expertise, commercial leadership and deep industry relationships developed over more than two decades in sports,” Tetreault said.
His experience building global brands and driving business growth will be invaluable as we continue expanding our audience, strengthening our partnerships and bringing BKB to millions of fans around the world.”
Founded in 2015, BKB is the world’s largest bare-knuckle boxing organization. The promotion stages events across the United States, the United Kingdom and other international markets, with broadcasts carried by partners including VICE TV and Telemundo.
