PWD Social Football Club of Bamenda will play against Dynamo of Douala in the quarter finals of the Cup of Cameroon.
When it was confirmed both teams will play each other again, the story of Epesse became fresh to the minds of many fans of the Abakwa Boys.
We are told Epesse became a household name during the 1979 Cup of Cameroon final between PWD Bamenda and Dynamo of Douala.
PWD Bamenda had the likes of goalkeeper Joseph Agwa, Ngoh Franklin and Dr. Ekwe and were favorites to win the cup. However, that was not the case. Dynamo won the match and it is believed Epesse who played for PWD sold the match.
Since then, anytime a match is announced between both teams, the memories of Epesse becomes fresh in the minds of many.
PWD and Dynamo met several times in the elite two championship some seasons ago and fans didn’t stop talking about Epesse.
Both teams will now meet each other in the quarter finals of the Cup of Cameroon.
Road to the Cup of Cameroon quarter finals
Both teams have recorded three victories each to get to this stage of the competition.
For PWD Bamenda, they recorded the following results:

The Abakwa Boys will be counting on the attacking ability of Ndiforchu Blaise who has been on form in the Cup. Ateba Leonel, Thomas Etta Bawak.
For Dynamo of Douala, their key players to watch out for are Mathias Malep, Junior Money, Joseph Bruno Eock, Federico Emmanuel Bangwen.
